The Crossing onlineBefore you is an amazing drama that tells about events that will make you stare at the screen in amazement without taking your eyes off. It would seem like a common story about refugees trying to find shelter in an American town. What can be unusual here? The point is that the refugees we are looking after are people from the future. Two hundred and fifty years will pass before the time when the war begins, forcing the main characters to flee. The storyline focuses on several interesting characters, including an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a mother who is looking for her daughter, as well as the sheriff and many other characters. In addition, a serious conflict of interest is brewing in refugee circles and a conspiracy is being prepared. Let's see how the story of the series "Crossing" ends.
Good day! I just finished watching the series "Crossing" and here's what I can tell you. The plot develops very smoothly, but not without unexpected twists (no gross violations of logic were noticed). There are no complaints about the acting and the scenery, everything looks quite harmonious and appropriate. There was not enough catchy musical accompaniment. The writers and directors have made a fairly high-quality product on the rather hackneyed theme of time travel, the first analogies that a sophisticated viewer will bring when watching the first episode will be analogies with such TV shows as "4400" and "Travelers", but will soon realize that the front is something different. Happy viewing!
Meeting people who have come from a distant future (if this is indeed the case) means that there will be a big difference in language, dress, and culture. The fact that newbies (visitors) and people in 2018 could communicate seems fake and distracting. I understand the main theme of the show, but a lot of questions arise ... 1. I don't understand why visitors are in tents? 2. Why do visitors constantly wear the same clothes? 3. Why should lead researchers always have face-to-face conversations? 4. Why is there only one doctor / scientist looking after visitors? 5. Why are there no quarantine procedures in the camp / city? 6. Why do characters only say 10% of what needs to be said? 7. Why does every conversation between characters seem uncomfortable? Another low-budget sci-fi movie with bad science, writing and acting.
Many people write comments that the film is similar to 4400, I can add that it also looks like a series ("other" 444), but if someone watched one or both series to the end and liked them, then I see no problem watching another a similar series, but despite the similarity of the series, the scenes in any film are so unpredictable that it is better to watch and say that it is good or bad. How many people have so many opinions, negative comments or reviews can affect the initial impression of the film, start watching the first episode (when it comes out), and then decide for yourself how many points you will rate the series.
