The Green Van series watch online for freeThis is a multi-part project based on the work of Alexander Kozachinsky. The series is saturated with an atmosphere of lyricism and nostalgia. The focus is on the events in Odessa immediately after the revolution. The story tells about the life of a simple boy who learned from books about the outstanding detective Sherlock Holmes. Now the guy dreams of becoming as smart and observant as the famous Holmes. However, life itself makes the guy get used to the difficult living conditions in a post-revolutionary country, because there is no need to talk about any law and order. Criminals are operating in the streets, and the main character sees in this situation an opportunity to show his detective skills.
I personally do not understand how someone can not like such a wonderful film as "Green Van", filmed at the Odessa Film Studio and with Dmitry Kharatyan in the title role. Deprived of seriousness? But no, the actual theme is raised in the plot - the eradication of evil. What could be even more eternal and actual if not the confrontation between good and evil? The cast cannot be criticized at all. The style has been chosen so that it is interesting and easy to watch two episodes of this film, a little over two hours fly by. The first episode was filmed in a comedy style, it feels the enthusiasm, the thirst for adventure of the protagonist, his confidence in his abilities, although he still has neither life nor professional experience. This episode reflects the inner world of the hero when he entered the service. This is youth. But already in the second series - this is maturity, when you part with illusions, you stop looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. The emphasis has already been placed on the dramatic component. Serious questions are being raised. The protagonist has an insight. This is inevitable for every person. In youth, the whole world around you is perceived differently, when you still have a vague idea of it and prefer to think that everything is quite simple and solvable in it, and then you face the first obstacles and already lose a share of cheerfulness. The film was divided into two parts, fun and light and more serious. Such a contrast only benefits, the obvious merit of the film! The acting ensemble is great, they are real masters of their craft. Dmitry Kharatyan already had the experience of filming in motion pictures by the time he worked on "Green Van". But here he was assigned the role of the protagonist, and he coped with it, made his debut in the role of the main character of a rather serious project - brilliantly, exactly getting into the image. A handsome blond with burning eyes, young, ready to get down to business, believing in its success, who has an idea of what honor is, eager to restore justice, with a formed sense of duty. A bit naive due to his age, but it can be seen from him that he is a man without a wormhole, without rot. A good person in a word, intelligent, thorough. I also liked Borislav Brondukov, it seems that he always gets the roles of secondary characters that do not allow his talent to be fully revealed, but how good he is, charismatic, you get completely and completely under his influence! The story seems to me quite interesting and exciting. The event took place in the city of Odessa. We get acquainted with the underworld of the city, crime has grown during the Civil War, there was a split in society, robbers, horse thieves, but there are not only small fry, there is also a leader in this world, he is dangerous, on his account there are many ruined lives. With this it will not be so easy to cope. There are colorful personalities in two worlds - those who break the law and those who try to hold them accountable for it. It is impossible not to mention separately about the songs that sound in the film performed by Dmitry Kharatyan. I really like the composition "The Twentieth Year", quite in the spirit of the film "Green Van", and in general I will say that I like Kharatyan's voice, I believe that he has not only acting talent, but also musically gifted!
Another Soviet detective on my favorite site. Very rarely, I have seen Soviet-made projects here before, but now a real breakthrough. And I was very pleased that the quality of the series is quite adequate.I would like to note that in fact we are not really a series, but more a multi-part film, which they took and divided into parts, although it would be possible to watch the full footage. I would like to note that for me personally, watching this story was a discovery, because I did not know and did not even suspect that stories based on real events were being filmed in the USSR. I would like to say that Petrov and Kozachinsky are in the spotlight. Very interesting personalities who are very pleasant to watch. I would also like to note that all the actors played very well, but it will take a lot of time. I’ll just say that A. Demyanenko and B. Brondukov are magnificent, each of whom played significant roles. The first was noted in the role of Shestakov, and the second was able to get used to the role of local policeman Grishchenko. And, as I think, in this series, a lot of attention is paid precisely to relations between people, which develop very dynamically and interestingly. In general, I think it will appeal to all those who still do not quite understand what Soviet serials are and just want to get acquainted with the direction. It is also worth noting that the authors of the script for this project did an excellent job creating an atmosphere that really conveys the peculiarities of the time and is truly addictive. Dzhigarkhanyan's voiceover is like a separate art form, very impressive and really mesmerizing. I think the audience will really like this story. It is worth watching for all those who respect Soviet cinema and enjoy watching such series.
Good day to all! Today I want to talk about a movie like Green Van. This is a fairly old film, but that does not mean that it is not more interesting. Green Van is a two-part movie, and the first one, in my opinion, compares favorably with the second episode. The first episode is made in a kind of ironic comedic style, where everything is so flawless and beautiful. The first episode can be watched many times and will not get bored at all. But the second episode of the picture turned out to be much darker and paler than the previous one. There is no longer that gloss in it, no comedy. Most likely, the second episode is a kind of drama, where everything is shown not very convincingly. To be honest, I did not have a desire to re-watch the second episode, and he did not arouse much interest in itself. I looked at the whole picture, for the sake of idle interest, to know how the whole story will end. But, despite this, I would also like to note the amazing acting. Dmitry Kharatyan, who is still quite young and not very experienced, took part in this film, who performed the hero Volodya Patrikeyev. The hero turned out to be very interesting. This is a guy with burning eyes, who is eager to fight, the initiative overwhelms him, the fulfillment of duty is above all. Maybe not a lot of ridiculous, but this can be attributed to his youth, and since he is a very good guy. In general, oddly enough, a lot of talented people took part in this film. After all, if you turn your attention to the performed images, to the skill of the cast, to the presentation of the characters to the audience, then it should be said that everything is brilliant here. And if someone thinks that Borislav Brondukov is an actor who always plays supporting roles, then I advise you to look at this picture. After all, the image of his hero Bronduov performed simply amazingly. What was it worth only to create the image of an eccentric man with a strong Ukrainian accent. I think this time we saw the top of the skill of this actor. I also liked the plot of the film. A very interesting topic is touched upon in the picture. Here we see bandits of different stripes, those who profess in different things, someone and them is a serious person, in whose hands there are many killed, someone is more engaged in theft and others. The actors who played the roles were convincing and it was very interesting to watch the characters. I cannot disregard the musical accompaniment of the picture. The music that sounded in the picture was able to fully immerse me in the plot, in the actions that were shown to us on the screen. In my opinion, this picture deserves your attention, it is a pity that the second episode pumped up a little. Thank you all for your attention!
In 1920, in Severinovka, Odessa region, all the villagers were awaiting the arrival of a new district militia manager. The fact is that the Soviet army had already saved Ukraine, but everywhere there were still many different swindlers, thieves, usurers and moonshiners. This new boss was supposed to establish discipline and tranquility in this area allowed to him. So a new boss appeared, rather uncommunicative and even gloomy. He was always armed and at any moment was always ready to face crime. Actually, this is what he wanted. When this boss, still very young by years, went somewhere and always put on a different coat in order to be inconspicuous, his colleagues and villagers understood that the boss Volodya went to work. And they didn't even distract him with their greeting. Volodya was very fond of the detective Sherlock Holmes, and therefore believed that with the help of his methods he would be able to understand everything. He even had a magnifying glass like Holmes. And although his search methods were English, his personal qualities are definitely domestic. This is valor, honor and respect for the homeland. A very kind film that will cheer you up when watching it. And the film will delight the viewer with wonderful actors, for example, Dmitry Kharatyan and Alexander Demyanenko, whom everyone knows from the role of Shurik, is filmed here.
I think we should start with the fact that the story of Alexander Kozachinsky, on the basis of which this adaptation of the series "Green Van" was provided to us, I have not read and therefore, unfortunately, I cannot say anything about the correspondence of the original plot with the series. But again, if you do not completely delve into the history of the creation of this picture, then we can say the following. Alexander Kozachinsky wrote a story based on the youth of Yevgeny Petrov, a man who co-authored such famous works as "The Twelve Chairs" and "The Golden Calf". It was on the basis of his story that Kozachinsky wrote the script. And only later, Igor Shevtsov, who is a director and screenwriter, took up the already written script, slightly changed it, corrected and filmed this film project. But what did we end up with for the film, what kind of plot do we have the opportunity to watch? In fact, now it is not so easy to judge that time, those events, in my opinion, we were shown an ordinary comedy, which the creators marked the genre of this picture as adventure and drama. Actors who were very popular at one time took part in the film. Although for me this is not at all an indicator that the picture is interesting. Even Dmitry Kharatyan's play this time could not impress me at all. I was shocked by his performance, it evoked antipathy, rather than love for an actor well known to me. If we can single out one of the heroes of this picture, then Boris Brondukov. This actor was really able to perform his character well, his character turned out to be a very interesting and colorful personality. Well, and summing up all of the above, I still want to say that, unfortunately, I cannot evaluate this picture positively. I am in no hurry to recommend it for viewing either. But this is my personal opinion. The show failed to impress me. Thank you all for your time and attention!
Apparently spring affects me so much that I was drawn to romantic, adventure films, easy to watch, which remind me of the good old, naive. A Soviet film with my favorite actor, Dmitry Kharatyan, in the title role, in which he shot as a young, twenty-year-old guy, ideally suited this mood.Actually, "Green Van" was the first film in which Dmitry played the role of the central character, and besides, he sang! The songs are played in the motion picture performed by Kharatyan. This is the story of a young man who is impetuous, ambitious, as it is now commonly called, with the fervor and maximalism characteristic of this age, he enters into adulthood. Remember yourself at that age, as the main character, if, of course, you are already a person wise for years, we all had a similar reaction to adulthood. It seemed to us that we knew everything better than others, did not want to listen to the advice of adults, we tried to break away from all the old habits, foundations, did not want to adapt to the world, but wanted it to bend under us, as was sung in one famous song. This is what characterizes youth, the desire to change everything around you, to build life the way you want. On a dashing horse and into adulthood. So you can call what the main character of the series, Volodya Patrikeev, is experiencing. In addition, the time was favorable, after the revolution, just the time of changes. And the place of development of events is favorable for that - Odessa. The former high school student holds a very important position, a responsible position - the head of the county criminal investigation department. He takes the service seriously, because such an important matter was entrusted to him, the trust placed in him cannot be undermined. And Volodya himself wants to be useful to society, his dream has come true - to feel like a great detective. Who becomes the reference point for the young chief of the criminal investigation department? Of course, the legend of the detective is Sherlock Holmes! Fortunately, Volodya has read a lot of books, the experience of the brilliant detective will be adopted, which means that now you can apply the knowledge gained from your own experience. But we all learned that real life is harsh, not everything in it goes according to your plan, you have to face reality, find out what the bitterness of loss, disappointment, how often we have to make mistakes in people, those we believe turn out to be traitors, and sometimes we are not even able to restore justice. A young and impetuous guy, yesterday's schoolboy, begins to understand his comrades, why Grishchenko is so wise in everyday life, where did Viktor Prokofievich's prudence come from, what circumstances temper character and will. Those who appeared to be the intelligentsia turn out to be lawbreakers, while ordinary peasants are trying to restore justice. Not everything is so simple, logical and understandable in the world as it might seem to a young person who has seen little in life. Very vivid images of the characters of the film "Green Van" and a wonderful play of talented actors. Dmitry Kharatyan, Grigoriev, and Brundukov also got used to the images of the first Soviet policemen. The images of the villains are no less colorful, and the skill of the actors - Solovyov, Adomaitis, is also worth noting. An interesting plot, wonderful musical compositions, the spirit of adventurism, adventure, the eternal struggle between good and evil, and what is optimistic - good wins. In the end, even the villains admit their guilt and realize that they were wrong and need to be corrected. Hurray, comrades! Let's believe that it was so in Soviet times and it will be so in our time, good will triumph over evil!
A good, high-quality, well-developed Soviet detective story, which may not be, for me personally, an object to follow, but at the same time I do not consider this story weak or somehow falling short of the best detective series of its time. I really liked the fact that the authors managed to shoot a project based on the work of the detective author Alexander Kozachinsky, very beloved by many, very efficiently and without unnecessary pathos. Good camera work, great acting, and of course the plot itself, where without it. I would like to note that the Odessa studio in general has released a lot of high-quality works. Before us is one of them. The story really looks amazing, and the relationship between Petrov and Kozachinsky is shown here very clearly and vividly. The game itself was pretty good, in principle, like the whole series. There is room here for many parallels with the real world, with real events, with people who lived in that era. The cast did not disappoint in the least. Demyanenko's play causes only pleasant impressions, and Brondukov's skill is beyond doubt. In general, I liked a kind of unpretentious Soviet detective that does not pretend to be genius, but does not look cheap or boring. Good and high-quality work that deserves the audience's attention and respect, because you can hardly remember really many representatives of the genre.
Probably, not so many people of our modern generation know about this film, because this motion picture was shot in 1983. And the fact that the film was previously filmed in 1959, only a few people know. So, what can you tell about the last film "Green Van", which became a film adaptation of the story of Alexander Kozachinsky. In general, I don’t remember that in Soviet cinema the same work was filmed for the second time. If there were such cases, then they are definitely isolated. The reason for this interest in Kozachinsky's work is understandable to me in principle, because his story was perfectly strung on the ideological content of state power. This film made it possible to promote Soviet ideology. In addition, thanks to an interesting and captivating plot, the Soviet viewer, in fact, himself was strung up on the ideals that were necessary for power. After all, we are told a story about the main character, who, speaking on the side of the state apparatus, began to realize the meaning of his affairs, became a solid man, and fought his opponents. Those people who did not support Bolshevism were people who had not yet realized that Bolshevism was the right decision. And there was no other alternative. After all, everything is shown here in contrast. Whoever is on the side of the Bolsheviks is a social person who is building his life and his country, and whoever is not with the Bolsheviks is either completely lost or even became a criminal and went down a slippery slope. Of course, there was no such harsh crime as in our Russian TV series, and it was not necessary. All the apostates of the motherland here are generally familiar to our protagonist. They were quite good people ... But they did not want a revolution, and therefore became immediately confused in life. The focus on this was shown very clearly in the first film adaptation of the story, but already in the last film, there was no explicit propaganda. There is already a more simply revolutionary atmosphere here. I really like this film and despite the shade of revolution, it did not get any worse. It even really went to his advantage. After all, the main thing is that everything was shown fervently, sincerely and so naturally that you refer this film to your favorite comedies. The topic of revolution here is more a discourse on humanity and the right choice. The film makes us understand that many things in our life have no meaning, and trying to explain it will lead to nothing. The reality is actually different, and the efforts of some youngster to catch a group of criminals are just for the film. Well, what is the logic of Sherlock Holmes in the main character Volodya. Everything against the background looks caricatured. But the actors are very convincing. This film looks so easy because there are so many good actors who played and believed in their characters. Dmitry Kharatyan amazingly played the head of the criminal investigation department, and Borislav Brondukov excellently played the policeman Grishchenko. I am ready to watch this film all the time.
Masterfully filmed, light, ironic detective story of the Soviet era. It was filmed at the Odessa Film Studio in 1983, based on the story of Alexander Kozachinsky. A story based on real events, as well as the relationship between friends-enemies Petrov and Kozachinsky. Kozachinsky (whose image of "Handsome" in the film was perfectly embodied by A.Solovyov), who managed to be both a policeman and a bandit, was really nearly shot for stealing horses. Arrested, and then made every effort to save him from being shot, personally Yevgeny Petrov, who became the prototype of Volodya Patrikeev. Special thanks to the director Alexander Pavlovsky for the simply amazing selection of actors. A. Demyanenko as Shestakov, B. Brondukov as junior policeman Grishchenko, the villain "Cherven", perfectly embodied by R. Adomaitis. And, of course, D. Kharatyan, in the role of Volodya, a naive schoolboy who does not part with a volume of Sherlock Holmes and who wished to become a gallant policeman in the era of the 20s. And all this, against the background of Dzhigarkhanyan's colorful voiceover. In such a company, the film simply could not turn out bad. I think the film should be watched by all lovers of good cinema.
