However, all this seeming protraction is designed to give the viewer the opportunity to get used to the role of the heroine and other characters. Someone is talking about the stupidity of the police - it's just ridiculous: the work of detectives is exactly that "find that, I don't know what", just like in fairy tales. They are looking for bits of information and most of the leads lead to the wrong place. So, in "Hidden" there is no action and no "cop stupidity". What is there - gloom, twilight, sadness of beautiful landscapes and towns. There are poor and dirty interiors - with hot water showers and electricity even in the basement of a destroyed house. There is a maniac and his henchman - his grumpy mother. The maniac also evokes sympathy - the mother was always unhappy with him, he is always bad, no matter what he does. The mother also evokes sympathy - how unhappy she must be to spoil her beloved son's life in such a way, completely unable to love, always dissatisfied, suffering. However, despite some sympathy for them, they cause much more anger and disgust: no matter how you suffer, you cannot hurt others! There are victims in the film - completely different girls who are united only by the fact that they are young, beautiful and at some point were vulnerable. There is a survivor - again in the comments they write that she is not sorry. Childish or immature, of course. The girl is very sympathetic, for whom it is already hard - she is deeply depressed, suffers from panic attacks, tries to fight it, but not very successfully. If you analyze her behavior with a maniac, then you cannot say something simply, in such situations they act not according to their mind, but how it turns out, and you never know what to expect from yourself. So judging others is stupid. There seems to be a triumph of justice in the series, but it is blurred. However, the ending brings relief - the case is closed, there will be no more victims. The line of relations in the family of the protagonist deserves special mention: communication with her beloved father, interaction of the heroine with two sisters. A very life situation of a good family, in which there is mutual love and support in the face of the trial of illness and the impending departure of the father. Definitely British, Welsh "The Hidden" is worth watching - without enthusiasm and trepidation, with thoughtfulness, psychology, admiration for the sad pictures and faces of the heroes (the actors play well). ps the voice acting is good, thanks. there would be subtitles, it would be super to hear the sound of Welsh.

The specificity of this series is that it was filmed in the UK. The cast is great ... the plot is great, but the point is that the show is filmed in slow motion and is rather dark, if you're in no rush you're in luck ... relax and watch this show. A girl disappeared, who was found after a while killed and an investigation begins. Against this background, we get to know the families in this small town ... with their internal relationships and gradually we are brought to the family that is guilty of a number of criminal cases. which still have to be revealed. Gradually, you understand why this crime happened and who is to blame. Who likes English TV series, enjoy it.

The film is in a typically British manner: many dark, dark, saturated shots, heightening the atmosphere; a gradually unfolding plot that keeps the viewer in suspense until the last moment. Personal drama of the protagonist, who is trying to maintain balance in the family and solve the intricate case of the murder of a young girl under extremely mysterious circumstances. The story is like a ball that slowly unwind, presenting new facts to the attention of the audience. An interesting detective story with a leisurely plot development and a calm atmosphere. I haven't watched the series yet, but I'm already writing a review. It would seem that everything is all right with me? Well, I don’t know, because the writers of the script promise a very cool story, I can’t resist writing my expectations for the project, because so often the series of this genre simply simply fail. It often happens that detective stories twist abruptly, begin to delight with their extraordinary approach to the implementation of a particular plot move, but in the end, by the middle of the story, they are blown away. However, I expect something completely different from this series, because the description does not promise anything special, but it turns out to be very, very interesting. I would like to say that the creators of this project have already developed many similar stories. Gareth Breen has worked on numerous British-made TV shows that did not reach domestic audiences, but are still considered very strong. His best work is "Hinterland", a project of 2013, which was highly appreciated by audiences from England. Honestly, I really liked the cast of the new series. There are personalities here that I know. Rodri Maylir played in "My Family", and the actress Gwyneth Keeworth managed to appear in "Doctor Thorne". I think something very interesting will come out of their joint work. I would like to recommend this project for viewing. I'm looking forward to the first episode in good voice acting and go to watch it myself.
