TV series Elfen Song watch online freeFor thousands of years, mysterious creatures have appeared and disappeared on Earth. Over the course of long evolution and gene mutations, a new species of creatures has appeared - "Diclonius". They look exactly the same as humans, but differ in their ability to psychokinetics. And yet - their head is crowned with small horns. This is the only way to isolate them from the mass of people. To find out the nature of the abilities of the Diclonius, terrible and cruel experiments are carried out on them. Lucy confronts this bullying and simply arranges a bloodbath in the isolation ward where she was kept. During the time while they experimented on her, Lucy hated the whole human race. And now it is not difficult for her to kill a person. But natural kindness sometimes seeps through the shell of hatred and resentment.
"Elven Song" has already become a classic .. The main aspect is the Diclonius .. Outwardly, they are not particularly distinguishable from humans, but there are small growths on the head, this is their peculiarity .. They give them unusual strength .. Each character has its own personal tragedy, each with its own scar. You get imbued with the plot and empathize with the heroes .. Do not pay attention to the comments about the abuse of animals. Too much focus on this .. There was only one case .. Definitely worth a look))
Spoiler alert! I first got acquainted with this anime as a teenager and was subdued by it. The depth of the plot, justifiably tough presentation, characters that cannot be divided into purely positive or negative. In general, everything is as I like. After a long time (5 years, if not more), I decided to revise this creation. And with the thought a la "well, this is a masterpiece, what could go wrong?" In my head, I was ready to spend most of the night in a good way. Perhaps, one should start with the positive moments, of which there are ... enough, yes. Some of the characters are really very pleasing. You are imbued with their personal tragedy, and this is exactly why I started watching "Elven Song" in general. But it's not that simple. And a huge damage to the overall impression is caused by one significant detail, which will be discussed at the very end. So, the characters. Of the entire lineup, Nana and Mayu were the most outstanding for me. A kind of rays of light in all the chaos that rages around, which found the strength not to lose such an attractive soulfulness and ... I don't know, purity, or something. But the only character who surpassed even them and climbed by leaps and bounds to the pedestal of my personal rating is Director Kurama. Yes, from such a story with burning raft-twists literally the hair stands on end. And it's not a shame to cry. Every time his personal arc opened smoothly from new sides, I frankly began to regret that this anime was not dedicated only to him. Because his story is revealed in the most realistic, not one-sided way, and with such a character I would like to go along the course of the whole story. But no, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, the hero on whom the whole batch is concentrated and for whom everyone has gathered here is not him. So, about the bad. I mean, about Lucy a.k.a Nu. Perhaps, with age, I began to be too critical of these types of characters, but the main character is frankly freezing out. I understand that the Japanese mentality is not an easy thing, and it is generally impossible to talk about it in simple words. But tell me, how can you empathize with a nuclear warhead that periodically transforms into a cute chan? Yes, her story is also teeming with difficult moments (in the initial stages), but kamon. Not so bad for you, honey. We've just been shown that some were doing worse. So Lucy's arch with all these famous "hurt her and were unfair to her, so she took revenge on them" is not rolled. It is not enough to show the cruelty of children towards the years in order to whitewash it and justify all subsequent actions. Just as it is not enough to expose the fact that the newly made friend deceived her and said that he was going to the holiday with a boy, and not a girl (!), As a betrayal of a universal scale. Is this treason? No, this is the height of absurdity. And the worst thing is that the result of this absurdity is the ruthless murder of Kota's sister and his father. In short, such a thing. Maybe now I sound like a fart grandfather whining about immorality on all your internet, but damn it. In this case, the thin line between overt insanity and the hero's serious personal tragedy, having learned about which, is ready to forgive him everything, is simply erased. Overall, anime was a masterpiece for its age. On closer examination, some aspects (the main character's motivation as an example) are capable of throwing a fly in the ointment. Nasty, bitter. But, to my greatest relief, all of this is covered by the heart-breaking arcs of the minor characters. For the sake of this, perhaps, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the "Elven Song" at least once.
"Elven song" ... So many people have already called it a masterpiece. And I, perhaps, will repeat myself. Of course, there are no sharp "twists and turns" that attract people so much, but there is a whole palette of feelings and emotions. head, into these joy, sadness, anger ... Many write that they cried. I'm not one of those people at all. Very few films and TV series brought me to this. But in the end I also cried. Be sure to look, even if you are alone of those who are too picky about anime. And, of course, if you decide, enjoy your viewing.
This anime can be developed quite well. This is my job, I know what I'm talking about. Here's how things can develop, for example. Interpretation of the ending. Lucy was shot off the horn, so she lost and was caught anyway. Kota can no longer remain unnoticed and he will have to leave the city. Behind the door is a new hero, perhaps an addition to grief. Development of the main theme. Has anyone heard of the hundredth monkey effect? I read about it in the encyclopedia. Get to know - interesting. Perhaps the emergence of the Diclonius is not a virus (such a topic is as old as the world), but an evolutionary course that was mentioned in the anime. Diclonii are highly sensitive and react sharply to stimuli. It was proved that there is an information field around the Earth through which animals and people can unconsciously transmit information to each other. Now let's remember the human treatment of animals. Then there was also deforestation, drainage of rivers, settlement and development of new ecological zones - all this reflected in the mood of the younger brothers. When Diclonius connects (unwittingly) to the field, he feels the suffering of living beings and wants to unconsciously help them. (all Diclonius are initially very kind and sympathetic creatures. See Lucy as an example) But this can only be done by killing people. And then they have a conflict of personality and actually split. Some are influenced (like Lucy), and they do justice. At the same time, they do not touch the animals. Diclonii are those who will lead the planet, this is the future of people. But they are not enemies. They need help, but in the anime, society is idealized as villains, so this is difficult to accomplish. Excessive cruelty also affects personality. About the organization. The organization made a lot of noise, many people died. Her goal was to treat the Diclonius virus, but she was going to isolate this virus to create a new species. Other organizations, such as the state, will learn this, and through them the Secret Government will also learn. It will decide to use the injection of the virus to create deadly weapons that can be controlled or to create a superhuman. In any case, the chief will either be killed or studied, because he has horns. (this topic was popular in the 90s and even earlier, but it makes no sense to chase a new one yet) About Lucy. Lucy is the main, the main character. The rest are needed to reveal her character. After the shaking, she lost touch with the field of the earth and therefore her personality crumbled under the influence of a strong desire to repent for her sins. For the first time she begins to be aware of herself. (does not kill the orphan, Kota's mistress, Bando) I think that after repenting to Kota (her second personality, she showed him that there is good in her, that she is still human) she will again suffer a split personality. She must go through the pain of the past and through all of her memories. We will learn about her whole life. Most likely, she will become a girl who wants to look for friends, (smarter than nude) while realizing her strength. Or show new traits, like mercy, a desire to help. Her subpersonalities must come to life and appear to us. And further. She must be at the center of this whole superhuman or weapon creation operation, so it won't be sweet for her. About new characters. Kota wants to hide. Therefore, an agent must be assigned to him. They will catch him and through him they will manipulate Lucy. Most likely the girl outside the door is the agent (like a client, because they live in a hotel). Bando must die! I do not like him. (probably his own people will kill him, because he escaped) Instead of him there will be someone more professional (maybe a little silpelite who owns a weapon). Yes, it is a pity. It is possible to expand both psychology and current trends here. I would do it, but only 10 years have passed. There are probably no more fans and everyone has forgotten about the anime. Moreover, too many rudeness, vulgarity came out. And there are a lot of mistakes, they drew even more from templates. Therefore, no one will sponsor such a thing.
To begin with, if you looked at the name and thought it was a children's fairy tale, then you are mistaken! This is a real hardcore action movie with elements of eroticism, where the main character suffers from a split personality. One person is not dangerous, and the second is a cold-blooded killer who can leave only large pieces of bloody meat at a distance of 10 meters from a person.People are to blame for this behavior of peaceful Diclonius (creatures similar to people, with horns growing and special "invisible" and sharp hands called vectors). It is the behavior of people in relation to those "unlike" them that causes many problems. Diclonius from the very birth live with the stamp of freaks and become a "target" for those whose self-esteem is off scale, but no one even guessed what these "freaks" are capable of until they met one of them face to face.
Elven Song, an animated series about the so-called "Diclonius" creatures, growths that are somewhat reminiscent of cat ears. However, by virtue of nature, these creatures in the plot are excellent killers. And the main character Nu / Lucy is the progenitor of all Diclonius. In turn, the main male character of the Cat is an ordinary schoolboy who was already friends with the Diclonius in childhood, but for some reason forgot about it. Further spoilers: This animated series shows both the cruelty of the Diclonii and the cruelty of the people themselves. Tells Lucy's story and the emergence of her violent tendencies. The anime also tells about the friendship of Kota and Lucy in early childhood, which begins to grow into something more. After Lucy kills the younger sister and father of the protagonist, this leaves a mental trauma for the protagonist and he forgets about this event and Lucy too. Then, some time later, Lucy finds herself in an ominous laboratory, where inhuman experiments are carried out on the Diclonii. After several years, Kota returns to the city when Lucy escapes from the laboratory at the same time. However, after the escape, she loses her memory and a second personality awakens in her - Nu. This anime contains both dramatic and funny moments in the life of the main characters. You need to start viewing immediately)
Super! Mixing Kawaii with violent violence is powerful, simple, and shocking. Mamoru Kanbe has made an extremely high quality and deeply meaningful motion picture. The movie, after all, is about the Diclonii and how hard it is to live in the world for people who are not like the rest. An extremely high-quality plot and style of drawing, also throughout the entire movie you empathize with the heroes, be it a young man who lost his family, or a girl Diclonius, who got nothing in the world apart from anger, as well as their relationship. I think this work is worthy of all praise. For a long time I have not seen such.
My favorite anime. This is probably why no work has evoked so many feelings in me, at the same time very different. While watching all these 13 episodes, I experienced contentment, sadness, anxiety, empathy. In the end, I actually cried a bit. I deviated from what I saw for an extremely long time. The plot in "Elven Song" is banal, I revealed it after the third episode, but it is presented amazingly. In just 13 episodes, the creators made a real masterpiece. The Elven Song is a story about bloody revenge, about hatred, a story about love and the pain of loss. Surprise attention to this anime, even if you are not a fan of the genre.
What do anime carry for themselves? What is the meaning of them? Or maybe it's a set of meanings, situations, tangles of fate and life in general? Maybe anime, in the end, open up and, in the end, show us who we are from the inside? Our primal instincts, which are hidden behind expensive suits of the XXI century and various fashionable devices? Maybe this is a mirror of our vices, desires, aspirations, thirsts that we hide in for ourselves, but often allow them to come out? Or is it a mirror of our humanity, warm relations to each other, laws of friendship and principles of honor, which we willingly hide, for some reason so ashamed to finally demonstrate them? What is anime - a symbiosis of opposites or the unity of everything? Everyone finds the answer that satisfies him. There is no point in naively, finally, believing that there is, to put it mildly, an answer that could satisfy everyone. And I don't pretend to be. The same story is with the "Elven Song". Everyone sees in her something of his own. Someone finally satisfies their thirst for blood, cruelty, those base, black fantasies of the human soul, which, so to speak, torments even the most adequate thinking mind. And someone, therefore, will see the director's veiled message and the ideas that are finally incorporated into the EP by the scriptwriters who have not entered the well-trodden path of stereotypes and have violated almost all taboos in traditional anime designed for the masses. This nonconformism is just as true, to put it mildly, shining through from the first 7 minutes of watching "EP" to the very last seconds. No, Mamoru Kanbe didn’t want to shock you, he wanted to show you for yourself ... What is behind this secret message, wrapped in this strange fabric of a bold and demoralizing anime, which made almost all film critics and just the audience turn away from him? Although what a secret it is - it is not at all secret, I am as old as this world: Violence finally breeds violence. This is a theorem. But there is no animal in the world that is most terrible and does not know how to slow down at a suitable, extreme moment, such as a person. Specifically human cruelty, at first, justified the rivers of blood and outright trash in "EP". Nudity is a secondary matter, because it is, therefore, a distinctive feature of most Japanese anime, their hallmark. At the moment, we are talking about the resonance caused by the “recklessness” of “EP” given for us. And about this question that hangs in the air: "Does this frankness justify itself in communicating the essence that is just inherent in the" EP "by the creators?" What is your answer? Justifies? Doesn't it justify? Does it mean that there is, as it were, a concrete answer to any question? I believe that the question itself is posed incorrectly, posed in such a way as to lead us on the wrong track. The question, if, after all, there is a need for it, should sound like this: "Have you realized why the cruelty of people who, in the end, pay for the consequences of their own cruelty?" The answer to this question, albeit not specific, but, nevertheless, ordinary and immediately extremely difficult in its own versatility. The usual answers are not, in general, it happens, even these safe "yes" and "no" carry in for themselves a lot of words and reasonings that are not said aloud ... Moreover, the answer seems to me ordinary and in its own simplicity, calculated on the usual awareness: "For all our sins, for all our evil, for the pain that we inflict - we will finally have to pay sometime, to put it mildly, in that (Lucy) or other form. " "The Elven Song" is the revealed truth about us and an extremely professional metaphor, which in a frank form, to put it mildly, indicates to us that we will ever have to pay for our actions, to put it mildly, with consequences ... So why do evil? But, unfortunately, this is faster a rhetorical question, because the answers to the questions "why" and "why" are hidden in our human nature, which learns only from its own mistakes, ignoring other people's experience ... Well, I got it out. These are the memories that remained with me after watching "EP", and why, in fairness, know that all of the above is very subjective and therefore decide for yourself whether to look at this masterpiece for you or pass by!
