Arn: Tempelriddaren OnlineThe feature film is based on the works of Jan Guillou about the Order of the Templars in 2007. The picture was filmed in the Swedish province, Morocco and Scotland. The film was shot in Swedish, although it is a co-production between Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Arn, the son of a powerful Swedish aristocrat who completes his monastic training, becomes a Templar and goes to the Sacred Land. This is how the young man is punished for his love for the girl. Jerusalem is going through difficult times, and Arn takes part in numerous battles, including the Battle of Hatin.
An interesting TV series on a medieval theme. The Europeans managed to convey the spirit and epic of that time quite well, for which they are very grateful. Despite the fact that the series, as it seemed to me, is a bit prolonged, it is pleasant to watch it. The picture is extremely attractive - the artists approached their work with great dedication and a sense of responsibility towards their viewer. They very accurately recreated the life of the Middle Ages in detail. It seems that such a work can only be compared with any documentary production. The actors are great fellows, there are no complaints about them. It was nice to see Vincent Perez in the role of the monk-abbot of the main character and Stellan Skarsgård in the role of one of the Birgers. Such masters of the acting workshop will always bring a special flavor to any picture. I really want to recommend this film to all lovers of historical cinema. You should also not prepare yourself for something epic - the creators did not begin to do large-scale battles. The authors skillfully did what they were sure of. Now we see an amazing motion picture that tells about the life and life of the main characters living in the Middle Ages.
It would seem that only the title of the film - "Arn: Knight Templar" already speaks for itself. After reading just the title of this film, it seems that the plot of the tape will be based on some story about the Templars or epic battles. At least that's exactly what I expected from this motion picture. In fact, everything turned out not quite as I initially thought. The plot of the film is based on the life story of Arn himself, and also tells about the foundations of medieval Sweden. I really liked the script for this film, as it allows you to view all the most important events in the life of the protagonist, and also helps viewers to find out why Arn grew up the way he is. The ordinary viewer, of course, can please the correspondence of the events shown in the film with real historical facts. In addition, the historical characters found in this film allow the viewer to understand what is happening on the screen. This film is recommended for those who love calm historical pictures, in which the plot is based on the hero's life and overcoming difficulties.
